Corrupt Communications
Cursing is different than taking the Lord's name in vain. Cursing covers all other words that are used. Taking the Lord's name in vain is actually using the name of God or Jesus when uttering curses. The bible describes cursing as "corrupt communications" in Ephesians 4:29 it says:"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. " So, let's clean it up. Especially you who claim to be a Christian.

Profane Language
Why do people use curse words anyway? Do they think it makes them the big man around town? Is there no other words that they know? I also think that those who use these words want to intimidate and make the person being cursed to look very small. And also to get their own way. What it really means is that those who use profane words are really immature and have a very limited vocabulary. Surely, there are more appropriate words that can be found to use that would get you much further toward resolving any problem you have with someone.
